Hi there! I'm Tiffany Abercrombie, and I'm thrilled to be embarking on this journey with you. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults in the Chicago-land area in various settings, including outpatient and residential facilities. My passion lies in helping teens and adults navigate through challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, domestic violence, and unhealthy relationships.
Every person is unique, so my approach to therapy is all about you! I earned my Master of Health Sciences from Governors State University in University Park, IL. I use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Person-Centered Therapy. This blend helps you reframe your story, discover new insights, build resilience, and create healthier connections with yourself and others.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending quality time with my family and friends, staying active through line dancing, and indulging in binge-worthy shows on Netflix. These personal interests not only bring me happiness but also help me connect with my clients on a deeper level, fostering a more empathetic and understanding counseling relationship.
I would appreciate if you message me your concerns, I'll get back to you as soon I read them. Looking forward to hearing from you.
